Our physical address is 660 Old River Road, Bloomingdale GA 31302. However, we have learned that many GPS systems won’t get you here. Give us a call and we can always drop a pin or give directions.
What is your return policy?
Southern Charm Embroidery strives for customer satisfaction – we want you to love your new purchase! However, due to the nature of our business, personalized items will not be refunded, UNLESS THERE IS AN ERROR ON OUR PART. Please look at the sizing specs for each item, if there is not one shown please contact us for further information and we will be glad to provide that. What is your turnaround?
We work hard to typically deliver a 10-14 business day lead time. In order for that clock to start artwork needs to be submitted/approved, and payment needs to be submitted. With current shipping uncertainties this sometimes can be difficult but we will always communicate to you if there are status concerns.
What are the minimum orders? Do I have to get them all the same size and style?
Minimum order is 12 pieces but we strongly encourage ordering 24 since there’s a considerable price break at that quantity. You can split this up between sizes, apparel colors, apparel styles, as long as ink color(s)/print locations stay the same across all garments. Please Note: Youth sizes can not typically be mixed with Adult sizes to reach order minimums. Contact us to discuss further.

What else can you screen print on?
T-shirts (short sleeve/long sleeve), Hoodies, ‘Garage’ Workshirts, Tank Tops, Athleisure, Sweats, Aprons, Tote/Gym Bags, Masks, and Drink Koozies. Youth and infant sizes of apparel are available. Get creative, we can most likely put your logo on it!
I have a quote from a competitor, can you meet or beat it?
We can sure try, but make sure you have all the specifics and give us all of that so we can compare apples to apples (shirt brand/weight/model/qty/sizes/price per/shipping/tax/etc). Often competitors will try to appear to be offering a better deal, when in reality they are printing on a lower quality shirt. We can print on cheaper shirts too, however we do not push that type of clothing.
Can you do all over printing?
Not at this time. You need to source sublimated fabric from a mill or provider and we aren’t setup to operate in that fashion.
I'm in a rush, can you print very quickly?
We do offer a Rush Charge if you need to be bumped to the front of the line in production and it won’t disrupt another customer’s deadline. That fee is $20 or 20%. The criteria is that all items need to be present and counted in, and artwork needs to be completed and approved. We have been known to turn around orders very quickly if the customer is in a rush and has the correct files. Never hurts to ask. Please don’t be shy if you’re on a deadline. Let us know that right away so we can try to help you out.
I want to have my design printed on a few different color shirts, can you do that?
No problem at all as long as the ink colors stay the same. We can even change ink colors (wash out screen/dry/reset press). However there may be a fee for ink wash out, contact us on that.
Can you ship overseas?
No problem mate! We ship via UPS or USPS, whichever gives you the best value while your particular products are handled as safe as possible. Generally USPS is the best.
The design I want to have printed is rather offensive, do you mind printing it?
Nope! We’ve got bills just like everyone else.
Ink color looks slightly different than what it looked like on the computer screen proof.
We do not guarantee color matching. Closest color of ink is always used. If you have an exact color of ink you want us to use please let us know (brand/model/PMS Color (additional costs).
Where (locations) can you print on my clothing?
Left Chest, Center Chest, Either side of body, upper back, middle back, lower back, upper/lower offset back, and sleeves….lots of places!
How are shirts packaged?
We sort and fold by size and shirt color so you can find what you are looking for quickly. Typically in sets of 10/ea. And each time the size changes in the box the stack will turn 180 degrees.
Embroidery
What about setup/digitizing fees?
There is a one-time digitizing fee. Typically $50 covers most company logos and left crest sized imprints. Fees can be waived on some large orders and some sales. Contact us to see if you qualify for this, or to get a quote on your digitizing price.
What is digitizing?
Digitizing is the process where we take your logo/text and create actual stitch paths for the machine to use to sew. This is not the same as having a vector file or pixel image file. Completely different process involved and is necessary to embroider your design.
How big can you stitch a design on a Jacket/Work Shirt?
We sew your logo around 14″ wide on Jackets/Work Shirts. It all depends on the proportions of your logo. Contact us if you have a special requirement. We always make designs as large as possible unless otherwise instructed.
What is your turn around on your bulk hat orders?
10-14 Business days is our production time. Sometimes less though. We generally give you a time frame upon ordering. This can be affected by holiday hours and product availability.
Can I order just one hat?
Absolutely. However, pricing on one hat is priced retail and applicable digitizing and shipping will apply.
Can our club or company set up ordering in singles?
Not at this time.
How large can you sew on a hat?
Center Front is 4.5 x 2.25 high. Offset front panel is 2.75×2. In theory though we can sew 270 degrees on a hat without taking it off the machine, (roughly ear to ear).
Do you have a stitch limit?
Not at all. But understand our pricing matrix is correlated to how long projects will take on the machine so plan accordingly.
Can you do ``Puff/Raised`` Embroidery?
Yes, sure can at additional cost. Note though not all logos will work for this, it’s better if you have a logo with wider lettering/graphics. Thin lettering or too large of a filled area does not turn out well.
Saw a Fox hat in the mall that was sewn on the bill and everywhere else, can you do that?
Not really, that type of hat is sewn before it was actually a hat, in other words they did the embroidery before sewing the hat together.
Can you put web addresses on a hat?
Yup! Keep in mind though the smaller you go the harder it becomes to embroider.
I bought something from another company, it was a mess, how can I be sure yours won't be?
A good sewn out design all starts with a good digitized file. Your machine will only sew as good as the digitized file. Take a look through our embroidery gallery to get an idea of our quality. We put ourselves in your shoes. Would we be proud to wear that?
How many machines do you have?
Total of 6 total heads across our 3 machines. What does that mean to you, faster production!
Is there a limit on thread colors per item?
Yes, 15 colors is the max we will do per design. But in all honesty, in over a decade of business the projects that required that many colors can be counted on one hand. Most company logos can be professionally accomplished in 2-3-4-5 colors.
How many colors of thread do you have?
Lots and lots. That’s our answer and We’re sticking to it. We have swatch books to match colors you choose to ensure things are accurate.
Can you embroider on other things like towels/beanies/etc?
Short answer is if you can stick a needle through it then we can embroider on it, so yes. We’ve tackled everything from leather to silk.
Can I mail you something to have it embroidered?
All customers are welcome to BRING IN items to have them embroidered so we can help fill out an order form at that time. MAILING IN items is not permitted and personalization will not continue.
What are the correct Monogram Formats?
- Ladies Monogram: For most, the conventional personalization for a lady is a monogram, consisting of three letters with a larger letter in the middle flanked by two smaller letters on each side. Traditionally, the larger middle letter is for the last name, the smaller letter on the left is for the first name and the smaller letter on the right is for either the middle name or maiden name. Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy would be JKO.
- Men’s Monogram: The traditional personalization for a man are his horizontal initials also known as a block monogram. Each letter is the same height and appears in the same order as the actual name – first name, middle name, last name. Thomas Rhett Akins would be TRA.
- Couple’s Monogram: Traditionally when the bride takes the groom’s last name, the monogram is Bride’s First Name, Common Last Name, Groom’s First Name. If you are undecided, just monogram the last initial or last name-for a simple and sophisticated gift. Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter would be RCJ. C would be appropriate, as well as CARTER or Carter.
Single Initial Monogram
- Ladies: Use her first name initial.
- Men: Use either first or last initial.
- Couple: Use the last name initial.
