Embroidery is the handicraft of decorating fabric or other materials with needle and thread that range from simple text to elaborate company logos. This process is most often used on caps, hats, coats, blankets, dress shirts, denim, stockings, and golf shirts. Our embroidery service is available with a wide variety of threads and styles.
PROS
- Long lasting method of thread stitched directly onto garments.
- Great for professional appearances and durability.
CONS
- Initial setup charges can be expensive and turn around times can become lengthy during certain times of the year.
- The digitizing cost can be difficult for individuals and single item projects.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
Some things to take into consideration...
Streamline the process by providing or preparing to answer these questions:
- What is being embroidered?
- If it’s a custom design or business logo, have an image ready to email so we can assess an estimated stitch count.
- Where are we applying the embroidery?
- A Left Chest application will have different costs than the full back of a leather or denim jacket. Decide your location(s) and sizes of each.
- Who is providing the items we embroider?
- We work with dozens of suppliers and we’re happy to help you source apparel and accessories you need. You’re also welcome to bring your items in and have them embroidered as well! We’ll need to know which is the case in order to give an accurate Estimate.
Digitizing is a MUST.
The initial setup or “digitizing” fee is necessary if we’ve never embroidered your design before. It’s important to note that once the details are prepared and we have the recipe created, future orders are not subject to being digitized again unless the design has changes. To be more specific, we can change the colors on your embroidered project but scaling the design, adding/removing stitches, and adding/removing additional elements to the art is not possible unless we digitize those changes.
